About Me

I must admit something--I did not enjoy being pregnant. The discomfort, the constant lectures from my doctor not to eat ice cream every night, the anxiety, the fear, the comparison, the overwhelming anticipation—it all weighed me down.

Yet, strangely, I reached a point where the hardest parts about being pregnant and the anticipation surrounding it became my only sense of relief and it taught me an invaluable lesson around trust and specifically trusting myself.

As parents, we can read every book, take every class, eat right, and do all the "things" we are supposed to do. And please don’t get me wrong, this is incredibly important preparation for some people. But ultimately, I found that the most impactful preparation for me was a practice in trust.

I spent over 15 years in the corporate world searching for inner trust, guided by external standards and expectations. While this path was rewarding, it constrained me to predefined roles. Redefining success on my own terms revealed my ability to build trust and impactful relationships, recognizing that one size does not fit all and empowering others to appreciate this as well. This is what ultimately lead me to become a Perinatal Coach. Through this realization, I have found the courage to seek my own voice and discover a way of being that is authentically mine as a mother, as a professional, as a partner and friend -- as me.
